The Israeli army announced that he had killed an important Iranian military commander on Tuesday, June 17, Ali Shadmani, in a night strike in Tehran, presenting him as the closest personality of the Supreme Guide, Ayatolá Ali Khamenei.
“For the second time in five days, Tsahal eliminated Iran’s chief of war personnel, the highest military commander of the regime,” the army wrote in a publication on social networks, adding:
“Ali Shadmani, the highest Iranian military leader and Khamenei’s main military advisor, was killed during a shot by the Israeli Air Force in the heart of Tehran, made on the basis of specific intelligence.”
Five days of conflict
Israel and Iran exchanged new air attacks on Tuesday, the fifth day of a mortal military escalation launched by an Israeli offensive aimed at Iranian strategic sites. Israel said he had attacked military sites in Iran during new air attacks, to which Tehran represents by missile fire.
