Several groups, including “Iran Justice” and the Association “We are Iranian Students”, are organizing a demonstration this Thursday, June 19 at 6.30 pm, at the place Du Panthéon in Paris. The slogan? “No to war.”
The action, denouncing the strikes carried out by the two countries of Benjamin Netanyahu and Ali Khamenei, wants to join with Iranian and Israeli civilians. His outfit was remarkably transmitted by the deputy of LFI of Sena Maritime Alma Dufour, but also by the Human Rights League that “requires mobilizing for the end of the bombing of the populations of Iran and Israel.”
“We have contributed over the years to solidarity actions to Iranian civil society mobilized against regime abuses and all terror exercised. This fight maintains all its news,” said the association in a statement.
LDH asks “the immediate stop of this war”
A demonstration to denounce “the bombings that terrify the population and have already killed hundreds of people” and that “can only transport chaos throughout the region, with the risk in addition to nuclear accidents.”
“We join the actions asking for the immediate judgment of this war,” the LDH reiterated.
On the seventh day of his offensive against Iran, the Israeli army said Thursday leading a series of strikes in Iran, especially in Tehran, and called to evacuate the Iranian villages of Arak and Khondab located near the nuclear installation, announcing imminent bombing.
And it is likely that the war is even more bothering: Donald Trump, grateful for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his “support” for the “defense of Israeli sky”, still kept doubts about possible US strikes: “Maybe I will do it, maybe not,” he launched that Tehran had come into contact with Washington to negotiate, but his patentage was “final.”
