France organizes the evacuation of its nationals taken in the conflict between Israel and Iran. Seven days after the first “preventive” attack in the Hebrew state against the Islamic regime, the French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barot detailed government plans for its nationals this Thursday, June 19.
If it is not an evacuation order, rather an advice to avoid as much as possible, the two countries, Paris wants to “support” French citizens in Iran and Israel.
With respect to the French who wish to leave the Hebrew State that has been in frequent fire for a week, they cannot use the Tel Aviv airport. But “the French who want to return to France can win along the Jordan and Egypt road” where flights continue to be operated, “said the minister.
A “convoy” to leave Iran
On the other side of the conflict, for nationals currently present in the Iranian territory, also attended by Tsahal’s frequent fire, the passage must be organized by Armenia or Türkiye, where French diplomatic teams are parked.
“In Iran, all the French who wish to leave the country and who have not yet been announced for our services are invited to inform themselves as soon as possible to our embassy. The passage is possible without visa to Armenia and Turkey whose borders are open,” said the government member, before adding:
“People who reported and cannot reach the borders themselves will be sent by convoy for the weekend.”
In addition to the question of the French in difficulty in the two countries, the head of the French diplomacy called the two parties “to the restriction, to the decalciation and stop the strikes on both sides and that is why we ask for the return of the negotiations.”
