Did the enriched uranium moved before the attacks in Iran? United States refutes this possibility

The White House said that on Wednesday, June 25, there was no indication of the highly enriched uranium movement before the attacks carried out by the United States to destroy the Iranian nuclear program facilities.

Donald Trump’s administration refuted on Wednesday, June 25, the hypothesis that Iran has moved its highly enriched uranium before US attacks, in the context of questions about the impact of this military operation on Tehran’s nuclear program.

Donald Trump has prevailed against the US media after the dissemination of an American confidential document sow doubts about the efficiency of bombings carried out on Sunday in support of Israel against the strategic sites of Fordo, Natanz and Ispahan.

According to him, US attacks carried out in Iran caused the total destruction of directed nuclear facilities.

“Considerably damaged” facilities

The director of the CIA, John Ratcliffe, also confirmed in a statement that, according to “credible information”, Tehran’s nuclear program had been “severely damaged by the recent directed strikes.”

“This includes new information from a historically reliable and exact source/method according to which several key nuclear infrastructures of Iran have been destroyed and their reconstruction should take several years,” added the American Intelligence Agency.

Tehran admitted on Wednesday that its nuclear facilities had been “considerably damaged” by Israeli and American bombings during the 12 days of war.

But experts have raised the possibility that Iran has prepared for the attack evacuating its 400 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium, level close to the 90% threshold necessary for the design of an atomic bomb.

Iran wants to suspend its cooperation with the OIEA

“I can tell him that the United States had no indications that highly enriched uranium moved before the strikes, as I also saw it mistakenly,” Karoline Leavitt of the White House to Fox News said.

“As for what is on the ground at this time, it is buried under kilometers and kilometers of debris due to the success of the strikes on Saturday night,” he added.

The International Nuclear Energy Agency (AIEA), with whom the Iranian Parliament wants to suspend the cooperation of the country, “lost visibility in this material from the moment the hostilities began,” said its general director, Rafael Grosi, on French television.

“I would not like to give the impression that it is lost or that it is hidden,” he added.

A nuclear program delayed for just a few months

According to a qualified secret defense document reported Tuesday by the US media CNN, the attacks would have delayed Tehran’s nuclear program of only a few months, without destroying it completely, unlike the repeated statements of Donald Trump.

A revelation that made the American president furious. Notably announced a press conference by Defense Minister Pete Hegseth, at 8 am local time on Thursday to “fight for the dignity of our great American drivers.”

Israel launched since June 13, mass attacks against Iran, accused of wanting to acquire the atomic weapon, which Tehran denies, defending its right to develop a civil nuclear program. Iran responded to the Israeli offensive by missile fire. A fragile fire, announced by Donald Trump, has been in force since Tuesday.
