The Iranian nuclear program has been delayed for approximately two years by US attacks decided by Donald Trump, according to American Intelligence Wassments, said Pentagon on Wednesday, July 2.
“We have delayed its at least one to two years program, this is what they evaluate the intelligence services of the Ministry of Defense,” said Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell.
“We believe it is probably closer to two years,” he added.
From the American bombings against the nuclear sites of Fordo, Natanz and Ispahan about ten days ago, in support of the Israeli offensive, the question of its efficiency remains uncertain.
Tehran’s nuclear program “destroyed” according to Trump
Donald Trump repeats that Tehran’s nuclear program was “destroyed” or delayed “several decades.”
His defense minister Pete Hegesh praised at the end of June “a decisive military action” that “created the conditions to end the war” between Israel and Iran. “At the tithe, annihilate, destroy, choose the word – Iranian nuclear capabilities,” he said.
But a first preliminary report of American intelligence of high secret, that The American Press reported last week, established that strikes against Iran had only penalized their nuclear program for a few months, without destroying it completely.
Iran has just rejected a request from the general director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (AIEA), Rafael Grossi, visiting its bombarded nuclear facilities, in order to establish what happened with its enriched uranium stock at a level close to the design threshold of an atomic bomb.
Rafael Grossi estimated that Iran had technical capabilities to start enriching uranium in “a few months” again.
