Truce in Gaza: Benjamin Netanyahu announces the sending of Israeli negotiators to Qatar on Sunday

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the sending of a team of Israeli negotiators to Qatar this Sunday, July 6 for a truce agreement with Hamas.

A team of Israeli negotiators will go to Qatar this Sunday, July 6, for indirect conversations for a truce and a hostage release agreement in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced tonight, while calling “unacceptable” the latest Hamas requests.

“The changes that Hamas seeks to bring to Qatar’s proposal communicated to us last night and are unacceptable for Israel,” said a statement from Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.

However, “after an evaluation of the situation,” the Israeli Prime Minister “gave the investigation to respond to the invitation to indirect conversations and continue efforts to recover our hostages on the basis of Qatar’s proposal that Israel has accepted,” adds the text, specifying that “the negotiation team will be given (Sunday) for the discussions in Qatar.”
