War in Ukraine: Volodymyr Zelensky announces “the recovery” of American aid

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, announces this Friday that the “help expeditions” in the United States were “restored”, after a few days.

After a brief interruption of a few days, American help in Ukraine resumes. “We receive good political signals at the highest level, especially from the United States and our European friends. According to all reports, assistance expeditions have been restored,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this Friday, July 11.

“We are working with our partners in new deliveries, the increase in production in Ukraine and the team of our army,” said the leader of Ukraine, in his daily speech on social networks.

“We already have good agreements and we hope to conclude more,” he says.

Donald Trump accuses Vladimir Putin of saying “much shit”

On July 2, the White House announced the cessation of arms deliveries to Ukraine, Washington said she was worried about the fall in her own actions.

“This decision was made to put the interests of the United States first, after a review, by the Ministry of Defense, from the military aid of our nation to other countries around the world,” said Anna Kelly, a White House assistant spokesman.

Under the mandate of Joe Biden, the United States has provided more than $ 60 billion in military aid to kyiv.

The announcement of the resumption of American deliveries occurs when the Russian army intensifies its drone and missile attacks against Ukraine. This Wednesday, kyiv said that Russia had launched her greatest attack of drones and missiles at night since the beginning of the invasion in 2022. That night, the Russian army took 728 drones and 13 missiles, according to the Ukraine Air Force that said she had intercepted 711 drones and destroys seven missiles.

This Friday, Donald Trump promised to “strengthen” the aerial defenses of Ukraine, before accusing Vladimir Putin on Tuesday of saying “much shit” in the Ukrainian archive. For its part, Kremlin shared its dissatisfaction after Washington’s announcement, ensuring that it favored “the continuation of hostilities.”

Regarding the negotiations, Vladimir Putin still maintains his maximalist requests, in particular that kyiv gives Russia the annexed Ukrainian regions and that Ukraine renounces to join NATO. Ukrainian leaders and their western allies judge these unacceptable conditions. Ukraine, meanwhile, requires that the Russian army completely retire from its territory, occupied by around 20%.
