She denounces “a conspiracy of features.” Tulsi Gabbard, director of National Intelligence (DNI), whose appointment of Donald Trump had aroused a significant controversy, requests legal procedures against Barack Obama and former senior national security officials of the United States, reports The American Press, including Guardian and CNN.
She denounces “a conspiracy” initiated by them in 2016 to demonstrate that Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential elections was due to Russian interference. To prove this “conspiracy”, Tulsi Gabbard declassified a series of documents that would prove, according to her, that the former US president and her relatives “prepared the field for a coup donor of several years” against Donald Trump, who had defeated Hillary Clinton that year.
Barack Obama and a list of senior officials would have for this “manufactured and politicized information”, suggesting that Moscow had influenced the ballot and, therefore, triggered an FBI investigation into this case.
“Its objective was to usurp the power of President Trump and subvert the will of the American people,” he adds in a message posted in X.
“Rewrite the story”
Tulsi Gabbard announces that he has transmitted “all documents to the Ministry of Justice that will be sent back to criminal”, believing that “whatever his authority, any person involved in this conspiracy must be subject to investigation and prosecution to the extent allowed by law. The integrity of our democratic Republic depends on it.”
This exit from the American Intelligence Manager aroused the outrage of the democratic field, who denounces an “attempt to rewrite history.” In 2016, “the Senatorial Intelligence Committee conducted a bipartite investigation, examining hundreds of thousands of documents and questioning witnesses for several years. The unanimous conclusion and bipartite is that Russia interfered in the 2016 elections for the benefit of Donald Trump,” said Democratic Senator Mark Warner of Virginie in a statement.
And to add: “This is just a new example of DNI’s attempt to falsify the accounts, rewrite history and erode confidence in the intelligence agencies that are supposed to direct.”
Barack Obama has not yet reacted to these accusations.
