A 9 -year -old girl was found dead in the state of New York, in the United States, this Sunday, July 20, after her father made a false kidnapping elimination.
Of the Canadian nationality, the girl’s body was found in the afternoon in Ticonderoga, about fifteen kilometers from the facilities where her father said she had been eliminated, according to the authorities, cited by ABC News.
After the father’s report on Saturday night, the State Police launched a kidnapping alert. An important research device had been implemented. The man assured that his daughter, Melina Galanis Frattolin, had been kidnapped in a rest area, by a man behind the wheel of a white truck.
“Inconsistencies” in the story of the father
“As the case advanced, the police identified inconsistencies in the account of the events by the father and in the chronology he provided,” the police said in a statement.
The man was arrested, but the authorities did not specify if he was involved in the death of his daughter. The circumstances of the girl’s death have not been revealed, for the moment.
“Currently, nothing indicates that a kidnapping occurred and there is no threat to the public,” the police added.
