The United States “firmly” rejected on Thursday, July 24, the project of French president Emmanuel Macron to recognize a Palestinian state, speaking of a “reckless” decision that makes peace return.
“This reckless decision only serves the propaganda of Hamas and withdraws the peace process. It is a camoufla of the victims of October 7,” said the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, on Network X.
A “reward for terror” according to Israel

France must co -resist Saudi Arabia an international conference at the level of heads of state and government aimed at relaunching the solution of “two states”, Palestinians and Israeli.
The United States has been opposed for a long time, even under the previous administration of Joe Biden, with any unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state, preferring a negotiated solution.
The Trump administration maintains ambiguity on whether it supports the solution of two states, Israeli and Palestine, an objective supported for years by US diplomacy.
Washington, the main support for the Israeli ally, shows its deep divergence with a series of European capitals, when negotiations for a high fire in Gaza’s strip have surpassed.
