Family vacations in Disneyland almost like everyone else. A month ago, the vice president of the United States, JD Vance, went to Mickey Park in California for a family excursion. His arrival had caused the park to close where it went for security reasons, leaving the other visitors to the tile.
This Tuesday, August 12, JD Vance mentioned this episode in the new Katie Miller podcast, near Donald Trump, as a beautiful memory for him and his family.
“We had the island only for us, which was great. I had never been in Disneyland, I found it great. Sorry for all for the long queues, but we had a great time.”
The vice president did not describe his experience in attractions without complex. “I loved Bayou’s adventure of Tiana, it was really great,” he explained, and added that he liked “Space Mountain” because the roller coaster gave him some nausea.

On July 12, JD Vance had been filmed by several visitors to the park with his family, sometimes deserted to leave them free. The witnesses of the scene mentioned several dozen security officers throughout the politician, as well as the park’s employees dedicated to the group.
The videos show that the family has been shout, but also that visitors have encouraged JD Vance by showing them their support.
In the podcast, JD Vance also reacts to a video of him in Disneyland that had been widely transmitted on social networks, where the father would apply after his children, a race made according to Internet users with very little ease.
“I saw that, someone said ‘run strangely’! I played a game with my children where I ran them, but not at a high speed, like an ogre,” he explains.
He adds: “This is what caused the great scandal of how I run behind them.”
For almost 45 minutes, the vice president evokes several issues of his daily life, such as his best “dad jokes”, his latest research using an AI, his favorite series or if he prefers the sauna or a cold bath.
