The Ukrainian capital came under attack again. An “infrastructure” site in Kyiv was hit by shelling on Wednesday, said mayor Vitali Klitschko, urging people to stay in shelters after a series of explosions were heard in the capital.
Three people were killed and six others wounded in the attacks, the capital’s military administration announced on Telegram.
“A one-story building was damaged” by one of these attacks, the administration added without elaborating.
water supply cut
The water supply was “suspended” after this attack, added the mayor of the Ukrainian capital.
“Due to the shelling, the water supply is cut off throughout Kyiv. Specialists…are working to restore it as soon as possible,” Vitaly Klitschko said on Telegram, calling on residents to stock up on water.
Finally, “emergency” power outages took place throughout the Kyiv region, compounded by difficulties in the mobile network.
On the outskirts of Kyiv, the mayor of Lviv, a city in western Ukraine, said “the whole city” was without power. Moldova, a country bordering Ukraine, has also reported “massive power outages.”
