A Russian unmanned aircraft strike in Jharkiv, eastern Ukraine, left at least three dead, including a small and 17 injured child, said the mayor on Monday, August 18, a few hours before a meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in Washington.
“Three people died, including a small child. 17 other people were injured, including six children,” the Igor Terekhov, who had previously said that a Russian drone had caused several fires in a residential building.
The city near the Russian border, the second in the country before the Russian invasion, had been bombarded a few hours earlier by a Russian ballistic missile that was injured at least 11 injured, according to the mayor.
