Russian diplomacy denounced the “vulgar insults” and “overcoming the limits of decency” of French president Emmanuel Macron, this Friday, August 29.
“Putin is an ogre on our doors”, a “predator” that “does not want peace” had launched Emmanuel Macron, on August 18, after a summit with Donald Trump and several European leaders in the White House.
These words “exceed the limits not only of reasonable decency but also, becoming vulgar insults with respect to Russia and its people,” said the spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, cited by the state agency Ria Novosti state.
Maria Zakharova accused Return France of having a “ideology of Carognard” and “taking a political advantage” of the armed conflict launched by the Russian -scale attack against Ukraine in February 2022.
One of the most ardent detractors
A quick moment not to call not to humiliate Russia, it has become one of the most burning detractors of Kremlin, far from the optimism that Donald Trump shows about the possibilities of ending the conflict in Ukraine.
“Today, Russia, in fact, continues the war, intensifies it,” he continued. Before adding: “For my part, I have the greatest doubts about the reality of a will to peace by the Russian president because it is much that he thinks he can win by the war, he will do it.”
Relationships between France and Russia have been at their lowest point for several years. Paris accuses Moscow of being at the origin of a series of acts of destabilization and disinformation in the French territory, while France is criticized by military support in Ukraine or even censor the Russian media.
