The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky estimated this Thursday, September 4 at a press conference at the Elysée with Emmanuel Macron, that a meeting with his Russian counterpart is “necessary.”
“It is not a matter of desire, we support the proposals of all formats, whether bilateral or trilateral,” said the Ukrainian leader, deplorating that “Russia does everything to drag.”
Vladimir Putin invited Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday to go to Moscow on Wednesday for a meeting between the two leaders, which would be the first since the beginning of the invasion. According to the president of Ukraine, “this is the best way to make the meeting be lost”, believing “not seeing any will on the part of Russia to end the war.”
