A man was killed “so it seems to be a great shark” while he appears in Sydney, the witnesses and the Australian police said on Saturday, which resulted in the closing of several beaches.
According to the testimonies collected by the local newspaper Daily Telegraph, the man surfed between the beaches of Long Reef and why, in the north of the agglomeration.
He died “after being bitten so it seems to be a great shark,” said the police, adding that two pieces of a surf table have been recovered to be subject to forensic experience.
Several closed beaches
Police say that emergency services rushed to the scene after being warned that the man had suffered “serious injuries.”
“Four or five surfers took him out of the water and it seemed that a large part of the lower part of the body had been attacked,” said a Daily Telegraph witness.
Several beaches in the sector were closed “even more notification” after the drama.
It is the first mortal shark attack in Sydney since it had cost a 35 -year -old British diving instructor in February 2022 in Little Bay, further south. The previous mortal attack in Sydney goes back to 1963.
