An earthquake of magnitude 7.8 was recorded in the Pacific in the Russian Kamchatka Peninsula, causing an alert in the Tsunami, said the American seismic seismic service of the USGS on Thursday, September 18.
The earthquake occurred on Friday at 6:58 am local time (8:58 pm French hour) 128 kilometers east of the Russian city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, in a little shallow kilometers, encouraging the alert center in the American Pacific tsunami to emit an alert for possible dangerous wells along the neighboring costs.
An earthquake of magnitude of 7.4 has already hit the region on Saturday, at a depth of 39.5 km, 111 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamthatsky.
