The French climber Titouan Leduc, 24, was arrested on Saturday, September 27 by the police during the climb, with naked and unprotected hands, of the highest skyscraper in the European Union, in Warsaw, found journalists of the AFP.
Warso Tower culminates 310 meters above the Polish capital and is the highest building in the European Union.
The urban climber was arrested on its roof, 230 meters high, before being able to reach the 80 meter high antenna that overlooks it.
After being arrested, the ascent is illegal, it was taken, handcuffed with dolls, in a police car.
During their rise, observed by dozens of spectators, firefighters installed a security perimeter and deployed three large rescue mattresses.
“Or you get to the top or fall”
“It is a very recent tower, which was built not long ago and (…) I would be the first to overlook and it is quite exciting, quite exciting,” Leduc said in an interview with AFP before his promotion.
“Until now, the highest tower I have uploaded,” in 2021, “it was the Montparnasse tower in Paris, which is 210 meters,” said the climber.
“In my head, there, I currently have no right to make mistakes. It is approaching. It is victory or death. Or you reach the top or caes,” he said before ascent.
