The president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced on Sunday, September 28, “something special, first” in peace negotiations in the Middle East, on the eve of a visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House.
“We have a real possibility of achieving something big in the Middle East. Everyone is ready for something special, the first. We are going to get there,” he wrote on his social social platform.

Bring the hostages back
“It will be an agreement that will bring hostages back. It will be an agreement that will end the war,” said the US president.
According to a diplomatic source, the American plan in 21 points provides in particular a high permanent fire in Gaza, the release of Israeli hostages held in the Palestinian territory, an Israeli retreat and a future governance of Gaza without Hamas, whose unprecedented attacks of October 7, 2023 promoted the war.
According to the British media, former Prime Minister Tony Blair could play a main role in a future transition authority in Gaza.
The creation of a Palestinian State, a “national suicide”
