The interception of the flotilla caused a wave of reactions to denounce the interruption of the fleets and requested the safety of the participants. France asked Israel “to guarantee the safety of participants.”
“We follow this situation in an extremely close way (…) we ask that all our compatriots who have made this decision (…) are protected. Depending on the evolution, we will assume the best costumes,” said Emmanuel Macron de Copenhagen.
A “peaceful and non -violent mission”
In Italy, several hundred people demonstrated in Rome and Naples on Wednesday night to protest against the interception of ships. For his part, Hamas denounced a “crime of piracy.”
The Franco-Palestinian Eurodiputada Rima Hassan, aboard the flotilla, accused Israel for having arrested hundreds of people “illegally.” He had started testifying in a direct on Instagram, before throwing his phone in the water at the time of sending the ship where he was.

In response to the acts of the Israeli army towards the humanitarian convoy, the rebel France (LFI) and the CGT called to meet this Thursday night and Saturday “everywhere in France” to claim the release of the flotilla teams for Gaza, who are part of the chosen officials of the movement and a CGT leader.
“Get out on October 2 from 6.30 pm, everywhere in France, to request the immediate launch of the teams and the end of the genocide in Gaza,” the political party published Wednesday night.
