The Eurodiputada, Emma Fourreau, who had embarked on one of the ships of the International Aid flotilla for Gaza, began a hunger strike, his team announced on social networks this Friday, October 3.

“Emma was illegally kidnapped by the Israeli army in international waters,” his team wrote on social networks. “In response, a hunger strike began, in solidarity with the Palestinian people hungry from Israel.”
The Eurodiput had already embarked on a humanitarian aid ship in July, the handala, also intercepted by the Israeli army. He had spent three days in detention, before being expelled to France.
