Several theories have surfaced on the internet, and some people speculate that the behavior may be a way to protect themselves from predators. Another theory states that the sheep may be sick with listeriosis, a disease that can inflame one side of the brain and cause sheep to behave strangely.
Matt Bell, professor and director of the Department of Agriculture at the University of Hartpury, England, said News week that “sheep spend a lot of time in the pen, and this can lead to stereotyped behaviour, going around in repeated circles due to the frustration of being confined and confined.”
According to the owner of the herd, this event started with just a few sheep walking around in a circle, but soon the others joined. This behavior was only verified in sheep from one of the corals.
