Trump. ‘Everyone wants me to walk in 2024’

Former US President Donald Trump said a possible re-election of the president in the 2024 election would “make a lot of people very happy”, and said he would make a decision soon.

“Everyone wants me in. I’m leading the polls,” both Republicans and Democrats, Donald Trump said in an interview with Indian television channel NDTV, which will be broadcast in full later this Thursday.

“I suspect that I will make a decision in the very near future. And I think a lot of people will be very happy,” he added, meaning he will even run again for the 2024 elections.

In the same interview, Donald Trump, 76, repeated unsubstantiated claims that the 2020 election, in which he lost to current President Joe Biden, was fraudulent. “There is a huge amount of evidence,” he said.

The Republican is under legal investigation for his efforts to reverse the 2020 election results and for the January 6, 2021 invasion of the Capitol by his supporters.

He is currently under investigation after confidential documents were found at his Florida home.

Recall that on Aug. 8, FBI agents searched Trump’s property in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, removing dozens of boxes of classified documents, some marked not only as top secret, but also “confidential compartmentalized information.” has been taken.

Trump denies wrongdoing, calling the operation “one of the most egregious attacks on democracy in the country’s history”.

On Saturday in Pennsylvania, Trump accused the current US president and his supporters of undermining American democracy, calling Joe Biden an “enemy of the state”.
