Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Tuesday called for allied support “faster, faster, faster”, stressing the importance of generators and air defense systems for the country.

However, the minister stressed that “decisions on weapons, decisions on launching new arms production lines in Western countries, must be made more quickly”.

“And this is what we’re going to discuss today with the foreign ministers, how to speed things up,” he stressed.

The Ukrainian minister stressed the country’s need for generators, transformers and also anti-aircraft systems, at a time when Russia’s attacks on critical infrastructure have increased.

Moments earlier, NATO’s secretary general urged Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, to “try to use winter as a weapon of war” against Ukraine, following attacks on energy infrastructures in recent weeks.

The military offensive launched by Russia in Ukraine on February 24 has already led to the flight of more than 13 million people – more than six million internally displaced people and more than 7.8 million to European countries – according to the latest UN data. to land. which classifies this refugee crisis as the worst in Europe since World War II (1939-1945).

The Russian invasion – justified by the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, with the need to “denazify” and demilitarize Ukraine for Russian security – was condemned by the international community at large, which responded by sending arms to Ukraine and to impose on Russia political and economic sanctions.

The UN presented 6,655 civilian casualties and 10,368 wounded as confirmed since the start of the war, underlining that these numbers are well below the real ones.
