Two killed in a Russian attack on a building on Kryvyi Rig
At least two people were killed and five others wounded in a Russian attack on Friday against an apartment building in Kryvyi Rig in southern Ukraine, regional governor Valentin Reznichenko announced.
“A Russian missile hit a residential building. (…) Two people died,” Reznitchenko announced on Telegram.
“At least five people were injured, including two children. All are in hospital,” he added.
To cope with the bombing, “electric trains” are powered by “reserve locomotives”
Due to strikes in several Ukrainian cities, “electric trains” running in the Kharkiv, Kivograd, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions “will run on reserve locomotives,” the Ukrainian railway company said on Friday morning.
Water cuts in Kyiv after strikes, Kharkiv and Poltava without electricity
In Kyiv, the Russian morning attacks caused the closure of the metro to make the stations serve as shelters. The mayor of the capital also indicated water cuts.
The mayors of Kharkiv (northeast) and Poltava (central-east) announced that their cities were without electricity after the shelling in the morning. The attacks also targeted the Zaporizhia region.
