The year-on-year inflation rate in the euro zone fell, in November, for the first time since June 2021, to 10.1%, Eurostat announced this Friday, revising the value indicated in the estimate with a slight increase of 0.1 points. Quick.
Year-on-year inflation in the euro zone fell for the first time in 17 months, standing at 10.1% in the euro zone, compared to 10.6% in October and 4.9% in September 2021.
In the European Union, according to the European statistical service, the annual inflation rate fell to 11.1% in November, compared to 11.5% in October and 5.2% in November 2021.
In the preliminary estimate published on November 30, Eurostat had pointed to an inflation rate of 10.0% in single currency countries.
