The capital of Ukraine was the target of attacks by more than two dozen drones on Monday, local authorities reported, noting that a crucial point of infrastructure was reached.
The kyiv government said on the Telegram social network that more than 20 Iranian-made drones were detected in the airspace of the capital and at least 15 were shot down.
Authorities added that an infrastructure critical point had been reached, without elaborating.
It is not known if the attacks caused casualties.
Russia is targeting energy infrastructure as part of a strategy to try to leave the population without a way to stay warm.
On Friday, the Ukrainian capital was attacked on a large scale by Russia. Dozens of missiles were launched across the country, causing widespread power outages.
