Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned the Ukrainian population on Saturday of the possibility that Russian forces “are active” and carry out new attacks during Christmas.

On the other hand, Zelensky thanked the US Congress for approving a $1.7 billion bill, including $45 billion for Ukraine in additional military, economic and humanitarian assistance, according to Ukrinform, quoted by the Europa Press agency.
The military offensive launched on February 24 by Russia in Ukraine has already caused the flight of more than 14 million people -6.5 million internally displaced persons and more than 7.8 million to European countries-, according to the most recent data. of the UN, which classifies this refugee crisis as the worst in Europe since World War II (1939-1945).
