The Russian company Kalashnikov will increase the production of drones for the Army, its president, Alan Lushnikov, announced on Wednesday.
“We are developing a line of unmanned devices, which is especially important in the current conditions. They are tactical drones. In other words, all those that are not launched from airfields. That is our niche, ”he said on state television.
He stressed that the drones manufactured by Kalashnikov performed “very well” in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, for which the company proposes to “increase production and develop new” models.
In August, Lushnikov assured that the company would focus on the production of Lancet and Kub ‘suicide’ drones, but would not increase production of other devices.
Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin assured that each platoon of the Russian Army must have a drone to fight the “enemy” in Ukraine, whose territory has been bombarded in recent months by the Russian Federation with artifacts produced in countries like Iran. .
