The Israeli parliament (Knesset) ratified on Thursday the new government led by Benjamin Netanyahu, formed with his ultra-Orthodox and far-right partners.
The most right-wing government in the history of Israel was approved with the favorable vote of a majority of 63 deputies from the six parties that make up the coalition, three of which are openly racist and Jewish supremacists, according to the Spanish news agency EFE.
Netanyahu thus begins his sixth term, having spent the last year and a half as opposition leader and while facing a corruption trial on charges of fraud, bribery and breach of trust.
