It is nominated for Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, Best Direction, Best Screenplay and Best Original Score, for Carter Burwell.
As for the cast, Farrell was nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, while Kerry Condon is on the shortlist for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, as well as Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan are among the five names. in the Best Supporting Actor category.
In terms of the number of film nominations, Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s “Everything and Everywhere at the Same Time” received six, Damien Chazelle’s “Babylon” received five and Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans” among many others.
On television, the most nominated series was “Abbott Elementary” with five nominations, followed by “The Crown,” “Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” and “Only Murders in the Building” with four each.
HBO Max and Netflix shared the number of titles nominated, with 14 each.
In the non-English language film category, the nominees are “All Quiet on the Western Front” (Germany), “Argentina, 1985” (Argentina), “Cerrar” (co-production between Belgium, France and the Netherlands), “Decision of leave” (South Korea) and “RRR” (India).
The Golden Globes are an initiative of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and were considered, for decades, one of the most important stops of the pre-Oscar season.
