Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was released from a hospital in Florida, in the southeastern United States, where he was admitted on Sunday for intestinal problems.
Bolsonaro left the AdventHealth Celebration hospital, located on the outskirts of the US city of Orlando, against the recommendation of the medical team, reported the Brazilian newspaper O Globo.
A doctor told the Brazilian newspaper that Bolsonaro was advised to remain hospitalized for another three to four days because he was still unable to eat solid food.

“This is already my third admission for severe intestinal obstruction. I came to spend some time with the family, but I did not have a quiet day. First it was that unfortunate episode in Brazil and then my admission to the hospital,” he lamented, from the hospital in Florida.
Bolsonaro explained that, although the initial intention was to remain in the United States until the end of January, health problems made his return to Brazil early, in the midst of a political crisis caused by violence from supporters of the former boss. of state in the Brazilian capital.
“In Brazil, the doctors already know about my problem of intestinal obstruction from the stabbing. Here, the doctors are not going to follow up,” Bolsonaro told the CNN television network, quoted by the newspaper O Globo.
Bolsonaro was hospitalized, this Monday, due to the secondary effects of a stabbing he suffered in 2018, during the electoral campaign and which, since then, has led him to be hospitalized on several occasions.
