The Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) requested this Friday the Federal Supreme Court (STF) of Brazil to investigate former President Jair Bolsonaro as the mastermind and instigator of the attacks perpetrated by extremists against the three powers, in Brasilia, on Sunday.
“The Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) requested the Federal Supreme Court (STF) to include representation against former President Jair Bolsonaro in Investigation 4,921, which investigates the instigation and intellectual authorship of anti-democratic acts that led to episodes of vandalism and violence in Brasilia last Sunday”, read a statement published on the website of the Federal Public Ministry.
Members of the Federal Public Ministry indicate that by sharing the video on their social networks “on January 10 questioning the regularity of the 2022 presidential elections”, Bolsonaro would have made a public incitement to commit a crime.
Bolsonaro removed the video the next day, Wednesday.
