At least 35 people were killed and 75 wounded in a Russian attack on a building in Dnipro on Sunday, according to the latest report from the Ukrainian emergency services. Thirty people are still missing, lamented Volodymyr Zelensky in his daily speech.
In his speech, the Ukrainian president strongly denounced the “silence” of Russian citizens who would not take sides against the war in Ukraine, unlike Westerners.
“There will be no one to protect you”
“I want to tell everyone who is in Russia, and those who come from Russia, who have not been able to utter a few words condemning this terror… despite the fact that they see and know everything perfectly… that you cowardly silence “will allow” that one day the same terrorists come for you”, launches Volodymyr Zelensky.
Add, in Russian, reports The worldthat “evil is very sensitive to cowardice” and that “it always remembers those who fear it or try to negotiate with it”.
“And when he comes for you, there will be no one to protect you,” concludes the Ukrainian president.
The attack in Dnipro left at least 75 people injured, including 40 hospitalized and four in intensive care. 72 apartments were destroyed and more than 230 were damaged.
“The chances of saving people now are minimal,” the city’s mayor Boris Filatov told Reuters. The chosen one explained that “the Russians initially targeted a thermal power plant” located on the “other side of the river.”
