Ryanair plane investigated in Athens after bomb threat on board

A Ryanair plane on a flight between Katowice, Poland, and Athens, Greece, is undergoing urgent inspection at an airport in the Greek capital due to a bomb threat on board.

The AFP agency, citing a Greek Defense Ministry source, said the flight, with more than 190 people on board, was escorted by Greek military planes to Athens international airport.

The plane in question landed in Athens at 5:40 p.m. local time (3:40 p.m. in Lisbon).
