‘A missile would take a minute’: Moscow accuses Johnson of lying about Putin threatening him

Former British Prime Minister told in a documentary that the Russian president “threatened” him before the invasion of Ukraine by throwing at him: “A missile would take a minute.”

The Kremlin has accused former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson of a “lie”, which claims in a BBC documentary that Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened to use missiles shortly before the offensive in Ukraine.

“What Mr. Johnson said was a lie. Either it was a deliberate lie, but then for what purpose? Or it was an unintentional lie, to the extent that he did not understand what he was saying,” President Putin said. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, assuring there had been “no missile threat.”
