A bus crashed into a day care center in the city of Laval, in the suburbs of Montreal, Canada, on Wednesday. Rescue teams said several children were seriously injured. The Quebec Journal Duty indicates that the events occurred at 8:30 a.m. local time (3:30 p.m. Paris time), in the Saint-Rose neighborhood of the city.
“A large perimeter has been deployed” around the partly destroyed building, police in the city of Laval, where the nursery is located, told AFP. According to Quebec’s Minister of Public Safety, François Bonnardel, the bus driver was arrested.
