Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet tonight at the Elysee Palace with French President Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz, the German Chancellor, in a meeting following Zelensky’s visit to London.
The official confirmation from the Elysée Palace came just this afternoon after some French media began to advance Zelensky’s visit to Paris, the first since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Thus, Volodymyr Zelensky, after a day of meetings in London, will arrive in Paris late in the afternoon for a meeting with Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz, which may include dinner.
The Élysée Palace will give more details about the meeting in the next few hours, and some media anticipate that it will be a working dinner.
This meeting comes after President Emmanuel Macron decided last week to provide an air defense system, together with Italy. Regarding the supply of heavy weapons, the French president has been open to sending heavy equipment, saying that “nothing can be excluded” in this offensive.
