After Volodymyr Zelensky’s official visit to Brussels and several European cities, Russia this morning intensified attacks against several Ukrainian cities.
Ukraine is under “massive” attack, says the country’s air force. “The enemy hit cities and critical infrastructure.”
In the last few hours, dozens of missiles and drones have been launched, many of them intercepted by air defense systems.
Residents of at least seven cities received warning messages: kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporojia, Odessa, Kerson, Kryvyi Rih, as well as the Poltavska region.
Russia fired at least “six Kalibr cruise missiles” and “35 S-300 missiles” (surface-to-air) and seven Shahed drones.”
Zaporizhia council secretary Anatolii Kurtiev said the city was attacked 17 times in the space of an hour, the most intense period of attacks since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022.
The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, participated this Thursday in an extraordinary summit between Heads of State and Government of the European Union, in Brussels, which ended this morning.
