The British government and the European Union (EU) reached an agreement on Monday to end disagreements over Northern Ireland’s post-Brexit trade status, British media reported, citing a British government source.
“An agreement has been reached”, European sources confirm to Europa Press, without detailing the terms of the agreement reached by the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
A press conference for the two leaders has been announced for 3:30 p.m. in Windsor, on the outskirts of London, where they are meeting.
