An explosion at a commercial building in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has killed at least three people and injured 40 others, local authorities said on Sunday.
The explosion destroyed the front and the third and last floor of the building, the rescue services reported to the BDNoticias 24 portal.
The building, which housed clothing stores, a hair salon and an insurance company, caught fire after the explosion. According to firefighters, the cause may have been an overload of the air conditioning system.
A bomb unit was also at the scene to investigate the accident.
