Euromillions: a Briton forced to combine two jobs wins almost a million euros

He was able to quit one of his jobs and pay off all his debts. The 55-year-old Briton now plans to travel to Japan and help her children financially.

Five numbers and a star that change a life. A British woman who worked two jobs to support her family has won more than 948,000 euros playing EuroMillions, says the BBC.

Sally-Ann Hanitzsch, 55, worked 20-hour weeks in a supermarket on top of her job at Cambourne council to support herself and pay off her debts.

On December 2, he played EuroMillions and won the jackpot. But the British only realized this a month later, during a break in her workday.

“I have no more debts”

Having won this sum will allow him “to have more time” and also “to help his family financially,” he told the media. In fact, she left her job at the supermarket but she wants to remain committed to the city council.

“I’m only 55 years old, I love my job and my colleagues,” he justified. “I no longer have debts, I am buying a house, I have lived in social housing for years,” she rejoices.

He also plans to go on vacation to Japan, buy a car, and help his children, who didn’t believe him when he told them the good news, become owners.
