A six-storey building collapsed in Luanda early this Saturday, with no casualties reported as the families living there had already been moved to a hotel in the Angolan capital.
That area was already isolated, after civil protection authorities called for the removal of people and vehicles from that area.

The deteriorated situation of the building in the Avenida Comandante Valódia area had been identified some time ago, and according to Jornal de Angola, another adjacent building was also in danger of collapse.
