Dmitri Medvedev, former president and prime minister of Russia, reinforced Russia’s threats to the West on Thursday. One day after Putin’s speech to the nation, the former head of state stated, on the Telegram social network, that there is no turning back from the path the country has chosen and adds that Moscow has storage with the capacity to quickly achieve the objectives in Europe and the United States.
“All citizens of NATO countries must understand that Russia has chosen its own path. There is no way back. There is no need for some retired idiots with lists of generals to scare us by talking about a NATO attack in Crimea. [míssil] Hypersonic is guaranteed to be able to hit targets in Europe and the US much faster,” Medvedev wrote.
In this message, the former Russian leader adds that the referendums in Donbass will serve to reinforce the protection of the pro-Russian territories of Ukraine.
