“The unbearable war” is the title chosen by Germano Almeida, commentator and analyst of international politics, for his most recent book, where he looks at the world, in this return from war. TO TSFGermano Almeida explains that it is not a book about international politics, but a book about the conflict in Eastern Europe, which has global effects and promises to change the entire future.
“kyiv is fighting for us, because if Ukraine falls, Russian military power will feel empowered to continue the aggression towards the post-Soviet space. What happens in Ukraine will not stay in Ukraine”, emphasizes Germano Almeida.
With this book, Germano Almeida wants readers to understand what this war is really about, especially over time. This invasion is, for the analyst, the most relevant event since the Second World War, and for this reason, Germano Almeida defends that people should not fall into “false equivalencies”.
