Two immigrants dead and 20 missing in shipwreck in the Mediterranean

At least two migrants have died and about 20 are missing after the ship carrying them sank between Tunisia and Italy, the German non-governmental organization (NGO) ResQship told AFP on Sunday.

According to the same source, 22 people were also rescued by the Nadir, the NGO’s boat.

These people landed this afternoon on the Italian island of Lampedusa, said Stefen Seyfert of ResQship.
