The smallest dog in the world is nicknamed “Pocket Chihuahua” and is located in Orlando, United States. It is 9.14 cm high and 12.7 cm long.
According to the British newspaper The Guardian, it was Perl’s veterinarian, as the dog is called, who nominated her for the smallest dog in the world, smaller than a television remote control and as long as a US dollar bill.
Miracle Milly held the previous record at 9.65 cm, but died in 2020. Pearl is the daughter of one of Milly’s twin sisters, weighed 30 grams at birth and now weighs 553 grams.
