The Brazilian president arrived in Lisbon this Friday for a five-day state visit to Portugal, where he will close at least 13 bilateral agreements at the Luso-Brazilian summit, which should be held annually, but which will be the first in seven years.
The plane carrying the Brazilian president landed in Lisbon at 10:35 a.m.

On Monday, Lula da Silva and his entourage will travel to Matosinhos to attend the inauguration of the Portugal-Brazil Business Forum, together with the President of the Government, António Costa.
The signing of the renewal of the protocol of understanding between the Portuguese Investment and Foreign Trade Agency and its Brazilian counterpart, the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ÁPEX) will also be signed.
Upon arrival in Lisbon, the Brazilian leader will address OGMA – Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, in Alverca.
Lula da Silva will also present the 2019 Camões Award to the Brazilian singer and writer Chico Buarque.
On April 25, a “solemn session in honor of President Lula, which precedes the celebrations of April 25,” is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., in which the Brazilian president will deliver a speech.
Lula da Silva will travel to Madrid after speaking at the Assembly of the Republic and will not be present at the commemorative session on April 25.
