The president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, assured this Monday that the country, after having been “six years away from the world”, is prepared to return to being a “big, important and attractive country”.

Brazil definitely wants to build association policies, we don’t want hegemonic relations with just anyone, we want to build alliances”, said the Brazilian head of state during the Portugal-Brazil Business Forum, which takes place in Matosinhos, in the Porto district.

According to Lula da Silva, Brazil did not receive any president and the president, referring to his predecessor Jair Bolsonaro, did not travel to any country because “nobody was interested in talking to people who did not behave in a very civilized way.”
The reason why Brazil was detained because the President did not do what any President has to do, which is to establish relationships and convince others of the importance and quality of Brazil, he said.
But, according to Lula da Silva, for the President of the Republic to be able to visit other countries and attract foreign capital, Brazil has to offer social, political and legal stability because, otherwise, no one will “put a penny” in the country. .
And as for companies, the Brazilian president highlighted that of Portugal, calling for investment by Portuguese businessmen.
“The Brazil-Portugal partnership is important because Portugal has always been treated as a small country. But nothing better than establishing a relationship with Portugal and, from here in Portugal, producing products together and exporting them to European countries because it’s much easier. and simple,” she stressed.
At this moment, he stressed, Brazil is recovering all the policies that have been “dismantled” in recent years, that is, those of social inclusion.
“My government’s priority is to resume the development of social inclusion in the country in a sustainable manner,” he stressed.
