The move comes two weeks after Norway announced the expulsion of 15 staff members from the Russian embassy in Oslo, accused of carrying out espionage activities, taking advantage of their diplomatic status.
According to a joint investigation by Nordic public television broadcast a few days ago, dozens of Russian ships have been patrolling the North Sea in recent months to allegedly collect information on wind farms, gas pipelines and power cables for possible acts of sabotage.
